What Consumer Health Data Veast Collects

Depending on the features you use, Veast collects these categories of consumer health data. Unless noted, the source is you.

  • Body and health answers from your questionnaire — height, weight and goal weight; body-fat percentage and body measurements; injuries, medical conditions, family medical history, surgeries and prescription medications; food allergies and supplements; sleep, stress and energy; and your use of alcohol, cannabis, tobacco and recreational drugs
  • Training — workouts (exercises, sets, weight and repetitions, effort, duration, notes, and your mood and energy before training), meditation and breathwork sessions, fasting windows and discipline check-ins
  • Steps and sleep — on iPhone, with your permission, steps from your phone's motion sensor or Apple Health and sleep from Apple Health (source: your device); sleep you log or track in the app
  • Nutrition — meals and foods, meal photos, water, supplements and recipes
  • Body measurements over time, and Mirror progress photos, whose background is removed on your phone before upload
  • Veast Pulse check-ins — mood, energy, stress, sleep quality, hydration and notes
  • Journal entries and Today observations, and health information you write in messages or to the Veast Agent
  • Information derived from the above (source: Veast's AI features, with your consent, and your coach) — routines, diet plans, nutrition targets, your Veast Score, and weekly and monthly reviews
How we use it — to provide the features you ask for (your logs and history, your plan, Veast Score and Today practice); to let a coach you connect with coach you; to run AI features, only after you agree to them; and to keep accounts and the service secure. We never use it for advertising and never sell it.

Who Receives Your Consumer Health Data

These are the categories of consumer health data we share and the categories of third parties we share it with:

  • Coaches you connect with, who are independent professionals — your questionnaire, training, nutrition, body measurements, steps, sleep and Pulse logs, Mirror photos, and journal entries you have not marked private, for as long as you stay connected
  • Other members — only what you choose to post publicly or send to them
  • The public — only if you agree when you join the Results tribe: what you share there, featured on veast.life and Veast's social media accounts
  • Government authorities — only where the law requires it

Service providers process consumer health data only on our behalf, under contract: Supabase (storage, on Amazon Web Services in the United States), Anthropic (AI features, only after you agree to them), Expo (push notifications, which can show the start of a message) and Resend (email). Veast X LTD has no affiliates that receive consumer health data. We do not sell consumer health data.

Your Rights Over Consumer Health Data

If you are a Washington or Nevada resident, or your consumer health data is collected in Washington, you have these rights.

  1. Right 01
    Right to Confirm and Access
You can ask whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and for a copy of it, together with a list of every third party and affiliate we have shared it with and an email address or other online way to contact each of them.
  2. Right 02
    Right to Withdraw Consent
You can withdraw your consent to our collecting and sharing your consumer health data. In the app you can switch off AI Processing (Settings → Privacy Settings), turn off Veast's access to Health or Motion & Fitness in your iPhone's Settings, end your connection with a coach, and withdraw from being featured (Settings → Privacy Settings, or leave the Results tribe). To withdraw your consent entirely, email us; because Veast is built on this data, we then close and delete your account.
  3. Right 03
    Right to Delete
You can have your consumer health data deleted, in part or with your whole account. We tell our service providers and the third parties we shared it with, including your coach, to delete it too. Copies in our automatic backups expire as those backups are replaced, within six months at most. Content already featured publicly with your consent stays published.
  4. Right 04
    Right to Appeal
If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the subject "Appeal". We answer within 45 days and explain our decision. If we deny your appeal, you can contact your state's Attorney General (below).

How to Exercise Your Rights

  1. In the app — In Settings → Privacy Settings you can delete categories of your data (journal, workouts, nutrition, Pulse, Agent conversations, photos, Today record) and switch off AI Processing. Settings → Delete Account deletes your account and all associated consumer health data after a 30-day grace period.
  2. By email — Email legal@veast.life with the subject Consumer Health Data Request — [Access, Delete, Withdraw or Appeal], from the address on your account. We may ask for information to confirm it is you.
  3. Response timeline — We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend once by up to 45 more days, and will tell you why within the first 45.
Requests are free of charge. We will never deny you service or treat you differently for exercising these rights.
