1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Veast app for iPhone and Android, the web app at veast.life/app, and the veast.life website (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by Veast X LTD ("Veast," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
By creating an account or accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information. If you downloaded the app from the App Store or Google Play, Section 16 also applies.
Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the place where you live that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 16 or older. If we discover that a user is under 16, we will immediately terminate their account and delete associated data. Your date of birth can be set only once in the app. Some practices, and Plane 13 as a whole, stay hidden until you are 18.
2.2 Jurisdiction
You represent that your use of the Platform is not prohibited by the laws of your jurisdiction. Memberships are available in every country for which Veast publishes a regional price (Section 4.3), except where sanctions or applicable law prohibit it. You may not use the Platform if you are located in a country subject to comprehensive Canadian or U.S. sanctions, including North Korea, Iran, Syria and Cuba, or if you are named on a Canadian or U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
2.3 Account Integrity
You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their authorization, or create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions or restrictions.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
- You must promptly notify us at legal@veast.life if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- You may not transfer your account to another person.
4. Subscription Tiers and Billing
4.1 Subscription Tiers
| Tier | Price | Access |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0/month | Planes 1–3 open at signup, Planes 4–15 earned through Veast Score; 100 exercises from the library; full community participation including posting; journal capped at 5 entries/month; rate-limited pre-sales messages to coaches (3 unanswered per coach, 3 coaches) and consultation booking; Veast Agent limited to 10 messages/day |
| Standard | $99 USD/month (Tier 1 markets) | Full platform access; full exercise library; all games; full community participation; Veast Score; Founding Member status for the first 8,888 paid members (Section 4.4); weekly group Q&A sessions with coaches |
| Premium | Per-coach pricing | Everything in Standard plus live one-to-one coaching with one coach: four 60-minute sessions a month (video); private real-time coach chat; custom programming written for you by your coach; priority response; an invitation to the annual in-person retreat. Amir Mohebbi's rate: $2,000 USD/month. Other coaches set their own rates. |
4.2 Billing and Renewal
Your Veast membership (Free or Standard access to the Platform) and Premium one-to-one coaching are separate services, billed separately. Before you buy either, you are shown its price, how often it is charged, and that it renews automatically until you cancel.
Memberships bought in the iOS or Android app. Standard is a monthly subscription sold through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. Apple or Google, not Veast, handles the payment, renewal, refunds and cancellation: on iPhone, Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions; on Android, Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Veast account does not cancel it.
Memberships bought on the web. Standard bought at veast.life is a monthly subscription billed by card through Stripe. You are charged the price shown at checkout when you confirm, and then on the same date each month until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time in Settings > Manage membership > End membership. Billing stops at once and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Premium coaching. Premium coaching is a live, one-to-one service provided directly by your coach, a person, not by the Platform, at your coach's own monthly rate. It is billed by card through Stripe's checkout, which opens in your browser, on any platform and regardless of where your membership is billed. It renews monthly until you end it in Settings > Manage membership > End coaching; it is then not charged again, and you keep your coach until the end of the period you have paid for. Ending coaching does not end your membership. In the iOS and Android apps, Premium coaching is added to a Standard membership, which the app sells through the App Store or Google Play if you do not already have one.
Price changes. If the price of a web membership or of Premium coaching is going to change, we will tell you by email 30 days before the new price applies to you, with how to cancel, and you can cancel before it does. Price changes to store subscriptions follow Apple's and Google's rules, which include telling you first.
Refunds. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period, and no partial refunds are given for unused time, except where the law requires it (Section 4.5). Refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are decided by Apple or Google under their policies.
4.3 Regional Pricing (PPP)
Subscription prices vary by region in accordance with our Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) framework. In the iOS and Android apps, your price is the one the App Store or Google Play shows for your account's country or region, in your local currency, before you confirm. On the web, it is set by the country on your Veast profile and checked against your billing-address country. The amounts below are in US dollars.
| PPP Tier | Example Markets | Standard/month |
|---|---|---|
| Carrier | US, CA, AU, NZ, NO, SE, CH | $99 |
| Steward | UK, EU west, JP, KR, SG | $59 |
| Builder | EU east, MX, BR, TR, ZA | $29 |
| Seeker | IN, PH, VN, NG, EG | $15 |
| Spark | PK, BD, ET, BO, ZW | $7 |
4.4 Founding Member Status
The first 8,888 paid subscribers (Standard or Premium) receive permanent Founding Member status. Free-tier users do not qualify. Once awarded, Founding Member status is permanent even if the subscription is later cancelled. The 8,888 cap is enforced automatically.
4.5 Your Legal Right to Cancel
If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and buy a web membership or Premium coaching as a consumer, you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the day you bought it, without giving a reason. To withdraw, email support@veast.life from the address on your account with the subject "Withdrawal", or send any other clear statement that you are withdrawing. Your membership or coaching starts as soon as you buy it because you ask us to start it straight away. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, we refund what you paid, minus an amount proportionate to the service provided up to the day you told us, within 14 days, to the card you paid with. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play follow Apple's or Google's own cancellation and refund terms.
Wherever you live, these Terms do not limit any other right to cancel or to a refund that your local consumer law gives you.
4.6 Referral Rewards
Where we offer a referral reward, its conditions are shown with the offer. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
5. The Coach Relationship
5.1 Educational Purpose Only
Coaches on the Platform provide fitness guidance, movement instruction, nutrition information, and lifestyle coaching for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing provided by a coach through the Platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapeutic services, or psychological counsel.
5.2 Consult Your Physician
Before beginning any fitness program, making significant dietary changes, or following any health-related guidance received through the Platform, consult a qualified medical professional, particularly if you have any pre-existing conditions, injuries, or health concerns.
5.3 Coach Vetting
All coaches are personally vetted by the founder. Vetting does not guarantee specific outcomes. Results vary based on individual effort, adherence, and physical factors.
5.4 Revenue Split
For members who joined independently and later added a coach: 80% Veast / 20% coach. For members who joined through a coach's direct referral: 20% Veast / 80% coach. An app-attributed membership flips to the coach-favoured 80% coach / 20% Veast split after 3 months of continued renewals for Standard, or 6 months for Premium. A lapse in membership restarts the count. All splits are calculated on amounts net collected — tax is deducted first, then the payment-rail fee, and the split applies to the remainder. A coach's share is paid by the payout method the coach chooses.
5.5 Coaches Are Independent
Coaches are independent professionals who run their own practice on the Platform. They are not employees or agents of Veast. A coach sees your information only as our Privacy Policy describes, and only while you are connected to them.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform if you are under 16 years of age
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Upload content that is illegal, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Exploit, manipulate, or defraud the Platform's activity verification, rewards, or scoring systems, including fabricating proof of activity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure, servers, or networks
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Platform without prior written authorization
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Platform's source code
- Use the Platform to engage in money laundering or any conduct prohibited by applicable law
- Harass, bully, or intimidate other users or coaches
- Share your account credentials or create accounts for banned users
Users who repeatedly infringe third-party intellectual property rights — including copyright, trademark, and publicity rights — will have their accounts permanently terminated without refund, consistent with our obligations under 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
6.1 Health & Fitness Content Disclaimer
No content on the Platform — including routines, diet plans, exercise guidance, wellness practices, or any communication from coaches, users, or the Veast AI agent — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All content is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
- Coaches on Veast are wellness and fitness professionals, not licensed physicians. They are not authorised to diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication, or provide treatment for any health condition.
- Before beginning any fitness program, dietary change, or wellness practice on the Platform, you should consult a qualified healthcare provider, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, disability, or are pregnant.
- Veast X LTD expressly disclaims all liability for any physical injury, illness, adverse health outcome, or other harm arising from your use of or reliance on any content, routine, coaching advice, or AI-generated guidance on the Platform.
- If you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or any adverse symptom during any activity, stop immediately and seek medical attention.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you participate in all physical activities at your own risk and that Veast X LTD is not liable for any injury or health consequence resulting from such participation, to the extent the law allows (Section 10).
6.2 The Veast Agent and Other AI Features
- The Veast Agent is an artificial intelligence system, not a person, and the app labels it as AI. It runs on Claude, a model made by Anthropic. AI also builds routines and diet plans, reads meal photos and reviews workouts you submit, and writes weekly and monthly reviews.
- You choose whether to use these features. They run only after you agree to use the Veast Agent, and you can switch AI Processing off at any time in Settings > Privacy Settings; the rest of Veast keeps working. The Privacy Policy lists what is sent to Anthropic.
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unsuited to you. It is not medical, nutritional, psychological or other professional advice (Section 6.1). Use your judgement, and stop any activity that causes pain.
- The Agent is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number.
- You can report any Agent response by pressing and holding it.
7. Community Standards
The Veast community is open to all belief systems, fitness disciplines, and dietary approaches. The following rules apply in all Tribes and feeds:
- No rank-shaming or spiritual elitism based on Plane progression
- No harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
- No unsolicited promotion or spam
- No sharing of private information about other users without consent
- Competitive environments (challenges, leaderboards) are opt-in per member — the choice belongs to you and follows you into every Tribe you join. A member who has not opted in is absent from the board, not ranked last on it. Non-competitive members are never pressured to participate.
7.1 Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users
Veast has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that is sexual, hateful, violent, harassing or illegal is removed, and its author's account is suspended or terminated.
Text you post or send is checked by an automatic filter on our servers, and images posted to the community are checked automatically before other members see them. You can report any post, comment, message or member, and block anyone. Reported content is reviewed by a person, and reports are acted on within 24 hours. A post or comment reported by three different members is hidden until it has been reviewed. Objectionable content is removed, and repeat or serious offenders are removed from Veast.
Veast Score and Plane status are personal. They are not displayed publicly without the user's explicit opt-in.
7.2 What Is Not Allowed, and How We Enforce It
Illegal content is not allowed anywhere on Veast. That includes terrorist content and child sexual abuse material, which we remove at once and report to the authorities as the law requires, and content that encourages or glorifies suicide, self-harm or eating disorders. Sexual content, hate, violence and harassment are not allowed either (Section 7.1).
We moderate with automated tools and with people. A filter on our servers refuses text that matches our list of objectionable terms in posts, comments, messages, live chat, tribe names and profiles. Every image posted to the community is held until an automated safety check passes it. A post or comment reported by three different members is hidden automatically until a person reviews it. Decisions to remove content after a report, and every suspension or account closure, are taken by a person.
7.3 Reporting Content and Our Decisions
Members can report any post, comment, message, profile or Agent response from the report option on it. Anyone, member or not, can report content they believe is illegal by emailing legal@veast.life with the subject "Content report". Please include where the content is (a link or a description precise enough to find it), why you believe it is illegal, your name and email address (you may leave these out if the report concerns child sexual abuse material), and a statement that you believe your report is accurate and complete. We confirm reports we receive by email, review every report, and tell the person who reported what we decided.
If we remove or restrict your content, or suspend or close your account, we will tell you what we did and why, the rule or law it was based on, and whether automated tools were involved, unless the law prevents us. If you disagree, email legal@veast.life with the subject "Moderation review" within six months, and a person will look at the decision again. You may also have the right to go to court or, in the European Union, to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body.
Where content suggests a threat to someone's life or safety, we may tell the police or other competent authorities.
Under the EU Digital Services Act, our single point of contact for authorities and for users is legal@veast.life. We communicate in English.
7.4 Members Under 18
Veast checks your date of birth when you sign up and admits no one under 16. For members aged 16 and 17, practices that need supervision and Plane 13 stay hidden and are refused by our servers until 18, and the rules in Section 7.2 apply in full.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Veast's IP
All software, designs, brand assets, the Convergence Portal logo, the "Veast" name, content, and features of the Platform are owned by Veast X LTD. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
8.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create on the Platform. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have all necessary rights to submit the content; (b) the content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; and (c) you have the right to grant the license below.
You grant Veast X LTD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform. This license terminates when you delete your content or your account, except that copies made by other users before deletion (such as quotes, replies, or reposts incorporated into their own content) may persist as part of that user's content.
Featuring your results. If, when you join the Results tribe, you agree that Veast may feature what you share there, you also grant Veast X LTD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display and publish that content, with your coach named, on veast.life and Veast's own social media accounts, and to resize, crop or caption it for those places. You can withdraw that agreement in Settings > Privacy Settings or by leaving the tribe. Nothing new is featured after you withdraw, but content already published stays published, and deleting your account does not remove it. Share cards you send from your phone go wherever you choose to share them and are not covered by this licence.
8.3 Feedback
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Platform, you grant Veast X LTD the right to use that feedback without obligation or compensation to you.
8.4 DMCA Designated Agent
Veast X LTD has registered a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office (Registration No. DMCA-1072564, effective May 10, 2026) for receipt of copyright infringement notices under 17 U.S.C. § 512. For the full takedown and counter-notice procedure, see our DMCA page.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VEAST X LTD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, AND THE SAFETY OR EFFICACY OF ANY FITNESS PROGRAM OR HEALTH GUIDANCE PROVIDED THROUGH THE PLATFORM.
Some places do not allow these exclusions. Where you have statutory rights or guarantees as a consumer, such as the rights under the EU's digital content rules, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, or the Australian Consumer Law, this section does not exclude them.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VEAST X LTD, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL; PERSONAL INJURY; OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT.
VEAST X LTD'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) CAD $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO VEAST IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or, where you are a consumer, for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
11. Indemnification
To the extent the law allows, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Veast X LTD and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your content submitted to the Platform; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12.2 Jurisdiction
You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of British Columbia for the resolution of any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms.
12.3 Consumers Outside British Columbia
If you are a consumer living outside British Columbia, Sections 12.1 and 12.2 do not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the place where you live, or any right you have under those laws to bring proceedings in your local courts. These Terms contain no arbitration clause and no class action waiver.
12.4 Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through direct negotiation. Contact us at legal@veast.life and allow 30 days for resolution.
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete Account, or by emailing support@veast.life. Your account is closed at once and permanently deleted after 30 days, except the records described on our data deletion page. Deleting your account does not cancel a membership billed by the App Store or Google Play; cancel it in the store (Section 4.2).
13.2 By Veast
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately without prior notice if you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk to the Platform or other users.
13.3 Effect of Termination
On termination, your right to access the Platform immediately ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 16) shall survive.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification and/or email at least 14 days before the effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a change, you can stop using the Platform and cancel your membership before it takes effect. Price changes follow Section 4.2.
15. General
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Veast X LTD.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms. Veast X LTD may assign its rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Language: These Terms are written in English. Translations are for convenience only; the English version controls in case of conflict.
16. App Store and Google Play
If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store, these Terms are between you and Veast X LTD only, not Apple, and Veast, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content. Your use of the iOS app is also subject to the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. If these Terms are provided as the app's licence agreement, they apply in place of Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; otherwise that agreement applies alongside them. In either case:
- Licence. Veast grants you a limited, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules, including through Family Sharing where it is enabled.
- Maintenance and support. Veast X LTD, not Apple, is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services.
- Warranty. If the app fails to conform to any warranty that applies to it, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are Veast's responsibility, subject to these Terms.
- Product claims. Veast, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation, including in connection with the app's use of HealthKit.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Veast, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Contact. Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to Veast X LTD at the address in Section 17.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, such as your wireless data service agreement.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and once you accept them, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
If you downloaded the app from Google Play, Google Play's Terms of Service also apply to your download and to purchases you make through Google Play, and these Terms are between you and Veast X LTD only.
